He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lanham and Myrtle Lanham; and his siblings, Paul, Dreama, Elizabeth, Ethel, Bill, Charles and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Surgeon Lanham; his children, Dr. Steve Lanham (Kathy) and Kim Pierce (Roger) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Chad Lanham of Columbia, Bria Gasparato (Greg) of Gainesville, Florida, Kyle Lanham (Ajia) of Washington, DC, Drew Pierce (Crystal) of Mount Pleasant and Logan Pierce of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Dominick, Christian and Mila Gasparato; his nephew Rev. James "Jimmy" Dempsey; Patty of Smithers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
