Coley Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Coley Brown of Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Coley and Jennings Caney Brown; his siblings, Jenks and Diana; and his half-brother John.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Brown of Sumter; his children, Merewynn, Coley and Anne Courtney; his great grandchildren, Beth O'Meara (Ryan), Garett Summers (Laird), Lauren Folk (Tanner), Ellenor Brown Knight (Branch), Sarah Brown, Jennings Greene and Ryan Greene; his brother Baxter Brown; his half-sister Maggie Marlowe; Annette Carlson, Ben (Louis), Merewynn Summers, Coley Brown (Ellen) and AC Greene (Darren). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Junction (800 Gervais St, Columbia, SC 29201).
