With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darius Harlan Shelley of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Darius Harlan find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenneau Shelley and Hilda Mae Gerrald Shelley; and his nephew Kendal Shelley, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother Kendal Shelley (Myrna) of Blythewood, SC; his nephew Kevin Shelley; and his great-nephew Gavin Shelley of Blythewood.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cox-Collins Funeral Home (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
