He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack VanLandingham Horton and Maurine Campbell Horton; and his brother Russell Horton. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Berry Horton; his daughters, Lauren Horton Cargile (Nick) of Columbia and Ashley Horton Johnson (Blake) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Ava Grace Cargile, Annie Cargile and Banks Johnson; and his brothers, Van Horton (Becky) of Chapin, Bobby Horton of Columbia and Preston Horton (Penny) of Red Bank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
