With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborrah Joan Dickson (Columbia, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 72. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Deborrah leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank M. Brown Sr. and Catherine D. Brown (Knight). She is survived by: her husband Edward Dickson; and her siblings, Susan Martin, Frank Brown, Jr. (Teresa), Kelly Abbott (Gary), Christopher Brown and Pamela Rash (Anthony).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
