He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carlisle and Evelyn Gregory Golightly; and his son Drew McKellar Golightly. He is survived by: his wife Gale Wimbish Golightly; his son Cameron Edward Golightly; his daughter-in-law Virginia King Golightly; his granddaughter Evelyn "Evie" Caroline Golightly of Chattanooga, TN.; his sister Judy Mathis (Nick Mathis) of Cherry Grove, SC; and his nieces, Lisa Dye (Madison) and Mandy McCabe (John).
