He was predeceased by: his parents, Shannon Eugene Coates and Queenie Browder Coates. He is survived by: his grandchildren, David and Sarah Beth; his wife Judy Paul Coates of Columbia, SC; his children, Shannon Troy Coates (Flory) and Melissa Anne Bradley (Paul); his grandchildren, Paul David Bradley (Sierra), Austin Michael Coates and Sarah Beth Bradley; and his great grandchild Paul David Bradley IV. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
