It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Blake Hicks of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Donna leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Blake and Tom Blake; and her brother Thomas Blake, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jack Haigler Hicks (Jason) and Kelly Elizabeth Hicks; her grandsons, Jack and Jeffrey; her brother Robert McGowan Blake (Dana); and her friend Flossie Gamble.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
