Doris Dixon Cheek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Dixon Cheek in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Alexander Dixon and Pauline Wilson Dixon; and her husband William Bingham Cheek III. She is survived by: her children, Anne Courtney Cheek Bailey (Timothy) and William Bingham Cheek IV (Kelly); her grandchildren, William Dixon Bailey, Courtney Alexander Bailey, Anna Wallace Cheek, Elizabeth Pinkney Cheek and Thomas Alexander Cheek; and her siblings, Sara Dixon Capps and Bert Alexander Dixon Jr. (Karen Taylor). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
