It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Adams of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Scott Adams and Margaret Cook Adams; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his grandson Jaden; his nephew Michael; his wife Janie Spurgeon Adams; his daughters, Maggie Tucker (Bryan) and Katie Adams; his grandchildren, Jack and Charlotte Tucker; and his siblings, Wendell Adams, Connie Rayfield, Robert Adams (Rhonda), Marcia Ruff (Harold), Diane Hall, Cy Rush, Gene Williams, Coach Steve Wilson, James Odom, Jason Hill, Wally Anderson, Lewis Bishop, Jim Edenfield and Jim Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
