He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Grover Stevens, Jr. and Ethel Eloise Stevens; his brother Ronnie; and his sister-in-law Theresa Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Jewell Holmes Stevens; his son Eddie Kerwin Stevens, II of Blythewood, SC; his sisters, Jeanie Peebles (Charles) and Judy Smith (Joe); and his great-nephew Brayden Stevens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for memorials to be made to the Fairlawn United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 9203 Wilson Blvd Columbia, SC 29203.
