He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Simpson and Betty Duffy Simpson; his brother William LeRoy Simpson; and his brother-in-law Pete Young. He is survived by: his wife Denise "DeeDee" Simpson; his daughters, Jennifer Simpson Howell (Will) and Lori Simpson; his siblings, Loretta Simpson Young and Roy "Duffy" Simpson (Angie); his sister-in-law Dell Simpson; and his grandchildren, Trey Simpson Goldsmith, Jordan Goldsmith, Emma Howell and Liam Howell. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
