It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Bouknight Talbert of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Ausburn and Della Estelle Bouknight; and her husband Charles Laney Talbert, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Laney "Chuck" Talbert (Anne Black) of Charleston, SC and Joel Preston Talbert (Margaret) of Fair Hope, AL; her brothers, Dwight Bouknight (Linda) and Herman Bouknight of Columbia, SC.; her grandchildren, Dalton Talbert (Carly) of Charleston, SC, Laney Friedman (Matthew) of Charleston, SC and Kristen Jones (Tyler) of Fair Hope, AL; her great grandchildren, Charley Rose Friedman and Sutton Jones; her nephew Derrell Sipes; and her niece Susan Amick.
