He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Jefferson; and his siblings, John Gallman, Melvin Jefferson, Ruby Glen and Thelma Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Leanner Jackson Nelson; and his children, Curtis Antonio (Althea) of Columbia, SC, Jerry of Hopkins, SC, Larry (Deborah) of Hopkins, SC, Tyrone (Annette) of Hopkins, SC and Wanda Smith of Hopkins, SC. He is also survived by grandchildren; thirty (30) great grandchildren; three (3) great-great grandchildren, and host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
