Elizabeth Durant Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Durant of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Sr. DuRant and Anne Elizabeth Snow DuRant; her siblings, John Wesley (Emily), Bethel, Jr. (Mary Lois), Henry Hill, Willie Snow (Lynn), Itly Wilson (Patricia), Lottie DuRant Boykin (Robert) and Margaret DuRant Hall (Gene); her nephews, Johnny, Howard, Nelson, Henry and Will DuRant; and her friend Sarah M. Dawsey. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews and nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
