She is survived by: her husband Carl Bernard "Pete" Stokes; her children, Keith Stokes (Candy) and Pamela Stokes Abdullah (Duece); her daughter-in-law Keli Stokes; her grandchildren, Carl W. Stokes II, Alston Stokes, Kristen Stokes, Marley Stokes and Yazeed Abdullah; her sisters, Libby Smith and Vivian Johnson; and her brother-in-law Jerome Wise. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
