She was predeceased by : her parents, Marie Wanda Wolters Gain and Edward Ridges Gain; her former life partner Lee Jungclaus; her husband Joe Carl Stroud; her daughter Deanna Orr; and her siblings, Chrystal Herbstreit, Edward Gain, John Gain and Billy Gain.

She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Jungclaus, Jonathan Jungclaus and Melinda Greene; and her siblings, Marie Martinez and Luther Gain. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (806 Universal Dr, Columbia, SC 29209-5120). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church.
