He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joseph Asmer and Emma Marsha Asmer; and his brother Albert Asmer Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy S. Asmer; his children, Frederick Charles Asmer Jr. (Chase), Regina Soriano (Sherwin Soriano) and Jennifer Burgess (Andre Burgess); his grandchildren, Preston Frederick Soriano, Sierra Soriano, Ashleigh Dunlap, Nicolas Burgess and Victoria Burgess; and his siblings, Norman Asmer (Lisa Asmer), Anthony Asmer (Sarah Asmer), Pete Asmer (Yvonne Asmer), Charles Asmer, Johnny Asmer and Christy Asmer Yarborough. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
