It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Ben Stephenson of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen Ayers McGee and Ben Yow Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Stephens Stephenson of Lexington; his son David; his daughter-in-law Meg Stephenson of Leesville; and his grandsons, Xander, Reese and Wesley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Horeb MKids.
