He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George T McCutchen, Sr. and Elizabeth Heyward McCutchen Hampton. He is survived by: his sisters, Betsy Williams and Jane Brown; his son George T McCutchen III; his daughter-in-law Shannon McCutchen; and his grandchildren, Thomas McCutchen IV, Lee McCutchen and Ellen McCutchen.
A memorial service was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral (1100 Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201). A reception was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Satterlee Hall of Trinity Cathedral (1100 Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201).
