It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Easley Bomar Jr. (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Easley Bomar, Sr. and Mary Helen Heins-Bomar; his son Michael Derin Bomar; and his grandson Tanner Malcolm Bomar. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Filson Bomar; his sister Mary Helen Bomar-Sinclair; his children, Harold Malcom Bomar (Della) and Denise Bomar-Black (Johnny); his grandchildren, Eva Christine Black, William Michael Black (Shannon), Robert Gordon Black (Ellison) and Aaron Allison; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Brooks Black, Judd, Iris Black and Sawyer Dorman.
Donations to St Jude Childrens' Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929, are preferred in lieu of flowers.
