He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Nolan Allen and Alta Parks Allen; and his siblings, Anneta Cristine Allen, Benjamin Newton Allen, Mildred Beatrice Allen, Samuel Nolan Allen Jr., Doris Jean Allen, William Harold Allen and Wayman Parks Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Maness; his sons, Harvey Addison Allen, Jr. (Andy) of Columbia and James Cory Allen (Jane Appleyard); his daughter-in-law Jane Appleyard Allen; his grandchildren, Emily Allen and Max Allen of Melrose, MA; and his sister-in-law Sue Maness of Garner, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
