She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Quitman Mathias and Beulah Johnson Mathias; her husband C. D. Derrick; and her sister Betty M. Sluder. She is survived by: her son Charles A.; her daughter-in-law Dot Derrick; her daughter Jan D.; her son-in-law Russ Conley; and her brother Don Q. Mathias.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Harvest Hope Food Bank.
