She was predeceased by: her parents, David S. DuBose, Jr. and Isabel Hildebrand Morton; her significant other Sheba; and her brother David S. DuBose, III. She is survived by: her husband William Jennings Strohecker, Jr.; her siblings, Marjorie Rogers (Marvin) of Spruce Pine, NC and George Dial DuBose (Kathy) of Williamston, SC; and her siblings-in-law, James Scott Strohecker (Marie) of Columbia, Diane Stroheckler (Bill) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Catherine Cummings DuBose of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
