He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Inabinet McBride; his sister Peggy McBride Thomas of Spartanburg, SC; his children, Dr. Marvin McBride (Ann) of Pittsboro, NC, Nancy Turbeville (Dean) of Charlotte, NC and Suzanne Eckstrom (Dan) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Matthew McBride (Megan), Dr. Jonathan McBride (Elizabeth), Rebekah Shillinglaw, Aaron Turbeville (Mollie), Lydia Turbeville, Eric Eckstrom (Sara), Brian Eckstrom (Alyssa) and Leah Eckstrom; and his great grandchildren, Nathan McBride, Harrison McBride, Charlotte McBride, Ezra Shillinglaw, Hadley Shillinglaw, Matilda Turbeville, Harriet Turbeville, Austin Eckstrom, Hudson Eckstrom and Jack Eckstrom. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
