She is survived by: her husband Luther Townsend; her children, Kes Townsend (Jodi), Lori Smoak (Terry) and Kevin Townsend (Ann); her grandchildren, Hannah Polston (Adam), Leah Hernandez (Jonnie), Luke Smoak and Piper Townsend; and her brother Tommy Mixson (Jeanette).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Kilbourne Park Baptist Church (4205 Kilbourne Rd, Columbia, SC 29206). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Annie Greene Building at Kilbourne Park Baptist Church (4205 Kilbourne Rd, Columbia, SC 29206-4528).
