He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Blizzard and Elizabeth Blizzard; and his brother Charles Blizzard. He is survived by: his children, Jim Blizzard (Donna), Chris Blizzard, Joe Blizzard (Leigh), Tom Blizzard (Brandi) and Katie Wilkins (Todd); his grandchildren, Lydia, Noah, Isaac, Johnathan, Chase, Taylor, Kaytlin, Ella, Josh and Izzy; his great grandchild Poppy; his wife Phyllis Blizzard; and his siblings, Ora Newsome, Faye Axon, Mary Ann Dubose, Betty Ruth Koon, Phebe Blizzard, Henry Blizzard and David Blizzard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (7068 Nursery Rd, Columbia, SC 29212). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
