James Price Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Price of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Astor Price and Margaret Mowery Price; his sister Michelle Price; his brother-in-law Larry Beane; and his niece Crystal McCall.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Price; his son Jay Price (Jenny) of Holly Springs, NC; his stepdaughter Christine Hodge (Camden) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Allison Price, James Price III and James Hodge; and his siblings, Charles Price (Carol) of Hickory, NC, Larry Price (Rebecca) of Lenoir, NC and Judy Price Beane of Lenoir, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1324 Marion St, Columbia, SC 29201).
