She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wright and Merle VonCannon Wright; and her husband Reverend Robert G. Ward, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, R. Glen Ward, Jr., Mark L. Ward, Reverend Hugh D. Ward (Kelly) and Lisa W. Davis (Stan); her grandchildren, Robert Glen Ward (Trey), Emily R. Price (Houston), Kristen M. Ward, S. Evan Davis (Savanna), Jenna L. Davis and A. Mackenzie Ward; and her great grandchild Merritt H. Davis.
