It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lenly Greene Sr. of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Edgar and Thelma Gamble Greene; and his brothers, John V. Green and William G. Greene. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Munn Greene; his children, Jerry Lenly Greene Jr. (Leah), Sabrina Greene FitzSimons (Charlie) and Neil Greene; and his grandchildren, Charley F. MacInnis (Baylis), Caroline F. Bond (Sam), Christopher William Greene FitzSimons, Evan C. Greene (Megan) and Elliott L. Greene. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, with an additional great-grandchild.
