He is survived by: his children, Margaret Linley Reese (Patrick Goold) of Portsmouth, Jesse "Tim" Timothy Reese, IV of Columbia, SC, Joseph Childs Reese (Ashton Reese) of Columbia, SC and Thomas Ridley Reese (Megan Brittingham) of Fallbrook, California; his sisters, Judith Reese Nye of Columbia, SC and Mary Reese Burnside of Blythewood, SC; his grandchildren, William Reese Goold, Everett Warren Reese and Eloise Birdie Reese; his nieces, Aimee "Petey" Kornegay Nelson (Brian) of Virginia and Van Metre Kornegay; his nephew John Dunbar Kornegay, Jr.; and his caregivers, Helen, Joseph, Jada and Kaya Shiver.
