He was predeceased by: his parents, Madge Loreane Shaffer (Smith) and Jesse Webster Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Faye Shaffer (Carroll); his sons, Stephen Scott Shaffer and Curtis Brandt Shaffer; his daughters-in-law, Misty Ellis Shaffer and Janine; and his grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, Parker, Sydnie, Weston and Sadie.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
In lieu of flowers, Steve's wishes were for donations to any charity meaningful to you.
