It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Louise Johnson Moeller in Columbia, South Carolina, born in Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jessie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jessie. Though Jessie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Moeller (Bob); and her parents, Stevenson Barnett Johnson and Jessie Louise Lenker Johnson. She is survived by: her son Bryan Moeller; her daughter-in-law Beth Moeller; her brother David Johnson; and her sister-in-law Shirley Johnson. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The committal service will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC at 1:00 p.m. In honor of Louise's memory, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church Endowment Fund at 6408 Bridgewood Road, Columbia, SC 29206.
