She is survived by: her children, Monte Ray Veal Jr. "Sonny" (Donna) and Alison Veal Kolb (Kevin); her grandchildren, Monte Ray Veal III, Kinsley Kolb (Stephen Griffin) and Caleb Kolb; and her brother John Broadwell. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
