He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Berley Hiller and Evelyn G. Boozer Hiller; his wife Bobbie Jean Rankin Hiller; his daughter Hermie Jean Hiller; and his sister-in-law Vivian Hiller.

He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Wanda Hiller of Columbia, SC; and his brothers, Richard Leland Hiller of Gray Court, SC and Arnold D. Hiller (Dinah) of Newberry, SC. He is also survived by one niece; and two nephews.
