With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Anson Inglis Sim II in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Anson Sim. He is survived by: his wife Polly Morrison Sim; his daughters, Rankin Livingston (Josh) and Mattie Sim (Sarah Jaynes); his grandchildren, Mary Russell, Maggie and Woods Livingston; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Sim (Betsy) of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John's life can be made to the Habitat ministry at Eastminster Presbyterian Church or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
