He is survived by : his cousin Deacon John; his daughters, Tonya Phipps (Oliver) of Naples, Wanda Thomas (Sherman) of Easely and Cassandra Lakin (Robert) of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister Marian Bookhart Tucker; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Scott-Ferguson of Columbia, Martha Lou Oree of Columbia, Margaret Huff of Columbia, Gloria Brabham of Columbia, Lenora Wise of Columbia and Alice Bookhart of Atlanta. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
