He was predeceased by: his parents, JoAnn Baker and David Baker; and his sister Debbie Brookshire. He is survived by: his wife Marcie Stern Baker; his daughter Gabbi Baker of New York; his siblings, Kenny Baker (Sharon), Frank Baker (Melanie) and Dale Baker; his siblings-in-law, Beryle and Pierre Jaffe; and his caregivers, John House, Leonard Bailey, Marvin Goodly, Darian Moorer, Chuck Baltimore and John Hartley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Way of the Midlands, Beth Shalom Synagogue, or Chabad of South Carolina.
