He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Anderson and Emma Anderson (King); his wife Betty Jean Hatchell Anderson; his son Joseph Stanley "Stan" Anderson; his grandson Cole Anderson; and his great grandchild Bryan Luke Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" Anderson, Jeffrey Anderson, Cynthia Kirby, Janet Crossland (Jim), Midge Maybin (Joe) and Alice Polston; and his cousin Jan Euten. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
