She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Adams, Jr. and Kathleen Beckham Adams; and her brother William J. Adams, III. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Thompson; her daughters, Karen Thompson Ingram (Billy) of Columbia, SC and Heather Thompson Hester (Tony) of Johnson City, TN; her grandchildren, James Cleatus Owens, III, William Thompson Owens, Robert Jackson Hester, Perry Kathleen H. Chumbley (Christian) and Joanna Elizabeth Hester; and her nieces and nephews, Harriett A. Stinson of Spartanburg, Ji Hae Adams of Spartanburg and William J. Adams IV of Spartanburg.
