He was predeceased by: his sister Meriden Elizabeth Blackman; and his son Lewis Wardlaw Blackman. He is survived by: his wife Helen Haskell; and his daughter Eliza Blackman.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (582 Walnut St, Macon, GA 31201).
