He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Jenkins Sr. and Frances Jacobs Jenkins; and his brother Anthony Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Jenkins; his children, Larry Brewer of Columbia, SC and Brittnee Jenkins of Fort Worth, TX; his stepson Jamie Henderson of Columbia, SC; and his siblings, Betty Jackson (Freddie) of Columbia, SC., Caroline Harrison (Ernest) of Columbia, SC., Jacob Jenkins Jr. (Brenda) of Columbia, SC. and Joseph Jenkins of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
