He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Amos Morrison; his sister Mary Louise Morrison; and his sister-in-law Patricia Pearce Morrison. He is survived by: his father Van Buron Morrison, Jr.; his wife Betty J. Morrison; his daughters, Sabrina Fay Gillian (Dana Marand) and Christina A. Lage (Joseph Lee); his siblings, Van Buron Morrison, III, Carolyn Coleman (Fredrick Thomas), Stephen Oneil Morrison and Davie Alan Morrison (Sharon K.); and his grandchildren, Kathy Miles, Tina Miles, Linda Miles and Wayne Shockley. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel (5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Drive Chapel (5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203).
