She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Boykin Dawkins and Mary Moore Dawkins; her husband Gerald Halcotte Reese; and her siblings, Betty Williams, Earline Moyer and Buster Dawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Bradley (Jack) of Hopkins, Donna Mavroftas (Nick) of Duncan, Vicki Haddock (Marty) of Sanford, NC, Gale Cotton (Jerry) of Oak Island, NC and Gerald A. Reese (Brenda); and her sister Annette Duncan of Lexington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Children's Hospital.
