He was predeceased by: his parents, King Footman and Emma Cooper Footman; his sisters, Irene Footman Jones, Helen Footman McGaw and Fannie Footman Davis; and his nephew Christopher Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Annie M. Footman; his sister Julia Footman McMillian of Orlando, Florida; his nephews, David McMillan (Victoria) of Tampa Florida and Clarence McMillan (Michelle) of Charlotte; and his niece Ameni Qui (Ja) of New York.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
