She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony "Tony" Gallant and Grace Haulbrook Gallant; and her husband Donald Wayne Cothran. She is survived by : her brother Raymond Haulbrook; and her son Michael Gallant Cothran (Cynthia Harbin Cothran).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
