We are sad to announce that, on May 28, 2026, at the age of 82, Luther Chase Williams III (Columbia, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Jones Connelly and Charles Kearns Connelly Jr.; his grandparents, Ira Boyd Jones and Minnie Craig Jones; and his son Ian Craig Griffith Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Griffith Williams; his children, Ashby Williams Lang of Houston, Katherine Williams Foo of Lancaster and Charles Peter Andrew Williams of Dallas; his grandchildren, Carolyn Susan Renshaw, William Jackson Lang, Andrew Chase Williams, Julia Carys Lang, Samuel Lee Foo, Riley Madison Williams and Jonathan Craig Lang; and his pet Nola.
