Franklin Walker Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; her sons, Rudy J. Walters of Columbia and David B. Walters; her daughter-in-law Joanne W. Walters (Additionally) of Charlotte, N. C; her grandchildren, Rudy J. Walters, Jr. (Stephanie) of Salem, Ashley Walters Skrypek (Tony) of Hampstead, N. C. and Tara Talbert of Charlotte, N. C.; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Skrypek, Ramsey Skrypek of Hampstead, N. C. and Brea Thompson of Charlotte, N. C.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church (1005 Asbury Dr, Columbia, SC 29209). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, 1005 Asbury Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29209.
