She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clark Joyner and Belle Campbell Joyner; her husband Dr. C. Edward Isert of Columbia; her daughter Sandra Hodnett of Roswell, Georgia; and her siblings, Charlie Thomas Joyner of Kershaw and Daisy Belle Self of Columbia.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Rae Marie Colley (Will Colley) of Atlanta; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Edward Colley of Nashville, Tennessee, Grace Marie Colley of Atlanta, Georgia., Carlton Richard Colley of Atlanta, Georgia. and Isabelle Louise Colley of Atlanta, Georgia..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1306 Hampton St, Columbia, SC.
