She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gullane Merrilees and Margaret Wolfe Merrilees; and her husband Ernest Howard Hackney. She is survived by: her children, Margaret-Lane Hackney Bowden (Ron), Wayne Hackney, Pamela Hackney O'Cain (Rick) and Howard Andrew Hackney; her grandchildren, Brian O'Cain (Andrea), Sherry O'Cain (Joy), Maria McWhite Hackney and William Howard Hackney; and also Rowan O'Cain.
